AEA Data – Error Messages Description and Corrective Action
On line: Invalid PECTABS
ERR6…
This message indicates the printer
received either invalid AEA PECTAB
data (ERR8) or a reference to an invalid
AEA PECTAB (ERR6) from the host.
The second line of the display identifies
the AEA error category (ERR6 or ERR8)
followed by the invalid PECTAB
information.
This error is displayed for informational
purposes only. The printer remains fully
functional and does not require any user
intervention.
Subsequent AEA errors will replace the
existing display message. The last AEA
error will remain in the display until
either power is removed from the unit or
the user presses the RESET key to clear
the message.

ERRS…
This message indicates the printer
received a request for an invalid AEA
Document from the host. The second line
of the display identifies the AEA error
category (ERRS) followed by the invalid
document information.
This error is displayed for informational
purposes only. The printer remains fully
functional and does not require any user
intervention.
Subsequent AEA errors will replace the
existing display message. The last AEA
error will remain in the display until
either power is removed from the unit or
