Connecting Machine to Power Supply
Before connecting the power cord, make sure the voltage
and frequency shown on the machine conform to your
electrical power,
* Turn off the power switch
insert the foot control plug
Ф and the machine plug (|), into the machine. Insert the
power supply plug (|) Into the wall in this order:
(T) Foot control plug
(D Machine plug
(D Power supply plug
0 Power switch
d) Power supply cord
0 Foot control
For Your Safety
* While in operation, always keep your eyes on the
sewing area. Do not touch any moving parts such as the
thread take-up lever, handwheel or needle
* Always turn off the power switch and unplug from the
power supply:
— When leaving the machine unattended.
— When attaching or removing parts.
— When cleaning the machine.
* Do not place anything on the foot control when not
sewing.

Sewing speed can be controlled by adjusting the speed
control l e v e r © .
To increase the maximum sewing speed, slide the iever
to the right
To decrease the maximum sewing speed, slide the lever
to the left.

Sewing speed can be varied by the foot control.
The harder you press on the foot control, the faster the
machine runs.
