Network DGPS

Overview

Standalone mojo3D systems (that is, those not connected to a mojoXact/mojoXact
Plus) provide DGPS (Differential GPS) position type. Network DGPS utilises a network
of base stations or single base stations to provide differential GPS correction signals
via the cell phone network.

Benefit

The Network DGPS option for the mojo3D provides an increase in accuracy over the
standard product. This accuracy increase is most pronounced in the absolute position
and not so much in the pass to pass. The absolute accuracy of the mojo3D with
Network DGPS is reduced to 0.50 meters RMS, however this accuracy is impacted by
the distance to the base station. Excellent performance improvements can be
achieved with base stations in the order of 150km away.

Before a mojo3D can be configured to use Network DGPS, unlock codes are
required for Network DGPS and a Network Data Plan. Contact your dealer
to obtain the required redeeming vouchers.

Loading unlock
codes onto the
mojo3D

There are two ways that the unlock codes can be loaded onto the mojo3D:

1. Connect the mojo3D to Virtual Wrench (see "12 Virtual Wrench™ Remote

Service").
Once connected, the new codes are automatically loaded onto the mojo3D.

OR

2. Enter the codes manually via the mojo3D, as described in "3.15 Feature Unlock".
