This section illustrates the interdependencies of the parameters on the
press brake, PSENvip and programmable safety system during a press
stroke. The following parameters are illustrated:
 Status: Describes the cycle status. The upward movement of the
press is assumed as a safe movement.
 OSSD: Output signal switching devices of the PSENvip
The initiation of muting is a function of the programmable safety sys-
tem.
The OSSDs are not evaluated during states 4 and 5.
 Creep speed mode: Signal that indicates creep speed mode to the
programmable safety system
 Protected field: Free, interrupted
 System-Init: Press brake is at top dead centre
 Foot switch: Start/stop press stroke
