4.1 Overview
4 Function Description
If an object encroaches into the detection zone, both output signal
switching devices (OSSD1 and OSSD2) on the PSENvip will switch to
the OFF-state. The safety system will use these signals to initiate stop-
ping of the press stroke.
4.1.1 Bending angle measurement

Bending angle measurement is incorporated as a standard function. The
bending angle of the metal sheet is detected via the lens on the receiver.
The operator requests the bending angle measurement on the receiver.
The measured value is shown on the display.
A maximum of 5 set values can also be specified. The PSENvip com-
pares the measured bending angle with the set values. If the measured
angle is within the tolerance of one of the 5 possible set values, the value
is shown on the display and an LED is lit.
