Load RIM-1000 Firmware
You can download current versions of firmware from CPI’It is important to confirm the correct version of firmware before downloading and installing it. Check the Identity tab for the Firmware
and Boatloader version loaded on your device and be sure the new firmware is a later version.
• RIM-1000-X/RIM-1000-XXXX With Bootloader 2.x.x supports firmware version 8.3.x only.
• RIM-1000-X/RIM-1000-XXXX With Bootloader 3.x.x supports firmware version 8.4.x only.

Load Firmware Through the Web Interface
1. Download firmware for the RIM-1000 from CPI’
2. Firmware downloads in a .zip compressed file. Extract the firmware (a .bin file) from the zip.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO LOAD THE WRONG FIRMWARE ONTO THE RIM-1000. If you have any questions regarding
firmware compatibility, contact CPI Technical Support (800-834-4969). The firmware load procedure involves using
