Installation Instructions
1 Safety Information
WARNING: Follow all standard practices when working with
computer equipment
WARNING: Be sure to use sufficient personnel to safely assemble
and install the server.
2 Included Hardware

Rails Set

Bezel

3 Intended Use
This Dell Server is to be installed into the 19”EIA computer rack/cabinet located in
a Data Center.
4 Tools Required
Refer to instructions included with rail set.
5 Assembly Sequence
•
Secure the rails to the designated rack space (U) in the rack/cabinet.
•
Attach the server to the rails and slide the server in the locking position.
•
Connect the female end of power cord(s) to the server.
•
Connect the male end of the power cord(s) to a Power Distribution Unit.
•
Turn on the server by pushing the On/Off button in front.

and CPI PMT username/passwords, please
register the product by using the following URL:

8 Initial Set up:
The following settings are pre-configured on the server. Note that the IP address
in the browser connection to CPI Power Management Tool will change when you
change the IP address to match your network.
•
Default Network Settings (change as required):
Gb 1 port (the left network port when facing the back of the server)
IPv4 IP address: 192.168.123.122
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default gateway: 192.168.123.1

Browser connection to access software web interface:
http://192.168.123.122:8688/DcmConsole
(case sensitive)
