The New Project Workspace dialog box allows you to select a project type for generation, which matches your CPU
target.
Project Type Description
Application Project for generating an execution program that includes the initial routine file written in the
C/C++ language.
Assembly Application Project for generating an execution program that includes the initial routine file written in the
assembly language.
Demonstration Project for generating a demonstration program written in the C language.
(Renesas SuperH Standard Tool chain or Hitachi H8S,H8/300 Standard Tool chain)
C source startup Application Project for generating a startup program written in the C language.
(Renesas M16C Standard Tool chain or Renesas M32C Standard Tool chain)
Empty Application Project for only setting the toolchain environment (no generation file).
Import Makefile A project to create an executable program by importing an existing makefile.
Library Project for generating a library file (no generation file).
Debugger only - xxxxxx A debug-only project (no generation file).
In the example below, the SH-4 simulator/debugger is assumed. For details on the functions available with the
debugging platform in use, refer to the user’s manual or help of the debugger.
