ipv6 mld snooping vlan
Use the ipv6 mld snooping vlan global configuration command on the switch stack or on a standalone
switch to configure IP version 6 (IPv6) Multicast Listener Discovery (MLD) snooping parameters on the
VLAN interface. Use the no form of this command to reset the parameters to the default settings.
ipv6 mld snooping vlan vlan-id [immediate-leave | mrouter interface interface-id | static
ipv6-multicast-address interface interface-id]
no ipv6 mld snooping vlan vlan-id [immediate-leave | mrouter interface interface-id | static
ip-address interface interface-id]
Note This command is supported only if you have configured a dual IPv4 and IPv6 Switch Database
Management (SDM) template on the switch.
Syntax Description
Command Default MLD snooping Immediate-Leave processing is disabled.
By default, there are no static IPv6 multicast groups.
By default, there are no multicast router ports.

Usage Guidelines To configure the dual IPv4 and IPv6 template, enter the sdm prefer dual-ipv4-and-ipv6 {default | vlan)
global configuration command and reload the switch.
You should only configure the Immediate-Leave feature when there is only one receiver on every port in
the VLAN. The configuration is saved in NVRAM.
The static keyword is used for configuring the MLD member ports statically.
vlan vlan-id Specify a VLAN number. The range is 1 to 1001 and 1006 to 4094.
immediate-leave (Optional) Enable MLD Immediate-Leave processing on a VLAN
interface. Use the no form of the command to disable the Immediate
Leave feature on the interface.
mrouter interface (Optional) Configure a multicast router port. The no form of the
command removes the configuration.
static ipv6-multicast-address (Optional) Configure a multicast group with the specified IPv6
multicast address.
interface interface-id Add a Layer 2 port to the group. The mrouter or static interface can be
a physical port or a port-channel interface in the range of 1 to 64.
