3. The Current column shows the word "Yes" for the current data
collector. To make the Enpac the current data collector, move to the
Current column for the Enpac 1200. Press Enter or double-click in the
column to change the word from "No" to "Yes." The previously
selected data collector automatically changes to "No."
4. Move to the Baud column in the Enpac 1200 row and set the Baud rate
to the same baud rate you select in the Enpac Ex. See Instrument Setup
Parameters on page 105.
5. Move to the Protocol column and set the Protocol to "N81."
6. Click OK when you are finished.
Set Up the Computer for Communication
Before you can load a list into the Enpac Ex, you must first set up the
computer and the data collector communication options. Once you select
these communication options, you should not have to change them again
unless you change your computer hardware.
1. Select Tools > Load/Unload.
2. Click the large Set Up Computer button in the Load/Unload dialog
box. The Set Up Computer dialog box appears.
3. Select your Communications Device such as COM1 or COM2.
4. Click OK when you are finished.
