Enpac Ex Parameters

Appendix B provides a list and description of the Enpac Ex parameters.

Instrument Setup
Parameters

The Instrument Setup parameters define the global options for the Enpac Ex
including the date, time, communication baud rate, and time-out. Use the
Touchscreen parameter to re-calibrate the touchscreen. The settings are
stored in Flash memory and will be reset to the factory defaults on a hardware
reset.

Timeout

The number of minutes the Enpac Ex can remain idle
before it shuts itself off to conserve battery power.

Press the ON/OFF key to reactivate the instrument
following a timeout. The instrument returns to the
point in the program where it was when it shut off.
No stored data will be lost.

Off (default)

IrDA

Enables or disables the Infra-Red serial port.

The Enpac Ex does not currently
support this interface. We recommend
you set this option to "Disabled"
(default).

Baud Rate

The baud rate for the serial communication.

Dflt Units

Defines the units of measurement for off route
standard velocity measurements.

Options: English (ips) (default)

Important: Used only for Off route
