5. Remove the faulty boom retract line (Figure 61).
6. Temporarily remove the adjacent boom extend line on the opposite
side of the extend cylinder. This line can then be used in an emer-
gency situation to lower the boom.
7. Reattach this line where the faulty boom retract line was previously
(Figure 62).
IMPORTANT! Have the vehicle serviced and hoses replaced as soon as
the boom has been lowered and the vehicle is in a secure location.
8. Reattach the faulty hose and direct the line so any oil that escapes
will be caught by the container.
9. Close the rear cover.
