Creating a Port Mirror
To create a port mirror, perform the following procedure:
1. From the Main Menu, type 1 to select Ports Menu.
2. From the Ports Menu, type 2 to select Port Mirroring.
The Port Mirroring menu in Figure 30 is displayed.

3. Type 1 to select Enable/Disable.
The following prompt is displayed.
Enter Enable (E)/Disable (D):
4. Type E to enable the port mirroring feature or D to disable the port
mirroring feature. The default is disabled. Press the Enter key.
5. If the port mirroring is enabled, several new options are added to the
Port Mirroring menu.
Table 5 lists the parameters used in the Port Mirroring Menu.

2 - Destination
Module Use this option to specify the switch in the stack
where the destination port is located.
3 - Destination
Port Use this selection to specify the destination port on
the switch. This is the port where the traffic from the
source port will be copied to.
