Description
Item
The attribute of the logical volume.
Attribute
Provisioning type of the logical volume.
Provisioning Type
Pool Name
•
For V-VOLs of Thin Provisioning, the name of the pool related to the logical volume is
displayed (see Note below).
•
If the logical volume attribute is Pool, the name of the pool where the logical volume belongs
is displayed.
•
When neither of the above are displayed, the pool name is blank.
The ID of the pool indicated by "Pool Name". A hyphen (-) displays for volumes other than
pool-VOLs or V-VOLs.
Pool ID
The number of the microprocessor that currently controls the logical volume
Current MPB
The number of the MP blade that you specified to control the logical volume.
Setting MPB
Indicates whether Security is specified as the attribute for the command device.
Command Device : Security
A hyphen (-) displays when "Attribute" is not "CMDDEV".
Indicates whether User Authentication is specified as the attribute for the command device.
Command Device : User
Authentication
A hyphen (-) displays when "Attribute" is not "CMDDEV".
Indicates whether Device Group Definition is specified as the attribute for the command device.
Command Device : Device
Group Definition
A hyphen (-) displays when "Attribute" is not "CMDDEV".
Information about whether the parity group is where the LDEV belongs is encrypted or not.
Encryption

For Internal Volumes: Enable (encrypted) or Disable
•
For External Volumes: blank
Note: (*)
A hyphen (-) displays if the LDEV is an external volumes or a FICON DM volume.
