Code Error
name
Cause/Action
0A1 Parameter data error
Supported version: V001B~
Cause: The input range of parameter range data is not appropriate.
(Example) This error occurs when the magnitude relationship of a pair
of range parameters is inappropriate, such as when the
value of soft limit- is mistakenly set to 300 mm when the
value of soft limit+ is 200.3 mm.
Action: Change the parameters to appropriate values.
0A6 Dynamic brake not
released
Cause: The dynamic brake cannot be released when the servo is ON, due to
noise, electrostatic, etc.
Action: Implement measures to eliminate noise or electrostatic.
0A8 Unsupported
motor/encoder types
Cause: Motor types and/or encoder types set for the parameter are not
supported.
Action: Contact IAI if the problem persists even after turning the power supply
off and then on again.
0B4 Mismatching
electric
angle
Cause: The position deviation counter overflowed.
Action: Check if loads interfere with peripheral objects, the brake is released,
and other load conditions. Deviation overflow may occur before fixing
of electric angle (at phase Z non-detection). In this case,
motor/encode cables may have output errors: check connection of the
cables.
0B7 Magnetic pole not
confirmed
This controller detects the magnetic-pole phase when the servo is turned on for
the first time after turning on the power. This error indicates that the magnetic-
pole phase cannot be detected after a specified period.
Cause: [1] The connector of the motor relay cable is loose or its circuit is
open.
[2] If the actuator is equipped with a brake, the brake cannot be
released.
[3] The motor load increased due to application of external force.
[4] The sliding distance of the actuator itself is high.
Action: [1] Check the wiring condition of the motor relay cable.
[2] Check the wiring condition of the brake cable, and also turn on/off
the brake release switch to check if “click” sound is heard.
[3] Check the assembly condition of mechanical parts for any
abnormality.
[4] If the load weight is normal, cut off the power and move the
actuator by hand to check the sliding resistance.
If the actuator itself is suspected as the cause, contact IAI.
0C4 Exceeded allowable time
of exceeding torque
allowing continuous push
& hold
Cause: The continuous push & hold time exceeded the time set for parameter
No. 89.
Action: Check the sequence again.
0C8 Overcurrent
Cause: The output current in the power-supply circuit became abnormally
high. This error should not occur in normal conditions of use. If it
occurs, insulation of the motor coil may have deteriorated.
Action: Measure the resistance among motor wire phases U, V and W, as
well as the insulation with respect to ground. to check if insulation has
deteriorated. Contact IAI before performing the above measurement.
