4. How to Switch to the Pulse-train Control Mode
Change the position of the piano switch located on the front panel of the controller.

Operation mode selector switch
OFF: Positioner mode, ON: Pulse-train mode
* The setting will become effective after the power is reconnected.
2 Used by the manufacturer for adjustment purposes. Keep the switch in the OFF position.
Caution: To operate the actuator by allowing the controller to communicate with the PLC via pulse trains, be
sure to tilt the mode selector switch on the front panel of the controller to the “AUTO” position.
Front panel
[1] Set SW1 to the ON position (tilt the switch to the left)
when the power is still off.
[2] Turn on the power.
