Servo-off status
1. Once the actuator stops, no holding torque will be supplied.
2. The pulse-train input, HOME (home return signal), TL (torque-limiting selection signal) and CSTP (external
forced stop signal) are all ignored.
3. The output signals SV (ready signal), HEND (home return completion signal) and TLR (torque limiting
signal) are all cleared (turned OFF).
4. INP (position complete signal)
If the AUTO/MANU switch is set to “AUTO,” the INP signal (position complete signal) is OFF when the
servo is OFF.
If the AUTO/MANU switch is set to “MANU,” the INP signal (position complete signal) is ON when the
servo is OFF and the actuator is inside the band set in parameter No. 10, “Default positioning band.”
Related parameter
The SON signal can be disabled (so that the servo always remains on) using parameter No. 21.
When the SON signal is disabled, the servo will turn on automatically once the controller power is input.
3.1.2
Reset Signal (RES)
This signal resets the alarms detected by the controller.
Function
Alarms detected by the controller can be reset when the RES signal is turned ON.
Caution:
If a cold-start level error generates, turning the RES signal ON while the SON (servo-on) signal is
OFF will clear the error display. However, the alarm will generate again once the SON signal is
turned ON again.
Identify the cause of the alarm and remove the cause, before restarting the controller.
