RS-232 Port Settings Page
The MTPX RS-232 Port Settings page (see figure 72) allows you to select the input source for
output on the audio or RS-232 wire pair and configure the port settings.
Select I/O Settings
Select Global Presets
Refresh
Select MTPX Configuration
Select an Output
Group for Ties
Select a Different Output
Group for Picture Settings

Available input selections are:
z z
TP inputs — The audio or RS-232 wire pair (3 and 6) on
the TP input
z z IP — RS-232 on a UART
z z
Captive-screw Insert — The RS-232 direct insert
captive screw connector
Access the MTPX RS-232 Port Settings page by clicking the RS-232
Port Settings link on the Control page. Click the Submit
button to make Serial Port and Source changes take effect.
NOTE: The Captive-screw Insert selection works for
inputs 1 through 16 only.
