Configure CVFS Client software on the UIM-SAN-GEIP
Now that the CVFS client software is licensed, you can configure the software to
access the file system as follows:
1. On the UIM-SAN-GEIP, click Start | Programs | Media Area Network | File System
Control Parameters .
The File System Client Properties application opens.
2. In the Map Drive | Drive drop-down list, select V .
3. On the Drive Mappings tab, in the Map Drive | File System drop-down list, select
default .
NOTE: If you have a problem, refer to “Check network connections and hosts file
name resolution” on page 78 .
4. Click the Map button.
Your selected drive and file system appear in the Select Drive | Drive box.
5. Select the Display File System Critical Events to Desk Top checkbox.
6. Select the Cache Parameters tab, configure as follows:
