• Check the fcconfig setting for the hardware address on each Profile system. Each
hardware address must be unique.
If all routes are set up correctly and you still fail to stream between Profile systems
using the Media Manager, try the following:
• Ensure that portmap and chgsrvr are running on the Profile system (should be in
pdrstart.bat).
Check Profile XP (PVS) Fibre Channel network settings
Open Configuration Manager, then select Network to verify Fibre Channel network
settings on Profile XP PVS series platforms. Refer to the Profile XP System Guide for
information setting network settings using Configuration Manager.
