Chapter 6 Service Information
2. When prompted, enter the Windows operating system software license number
shipped with your UIM.
3. Click
Next

4. When prompted, type the Computer Name and the Administrative password.
Computer name: Enter the UIM host name chosen for your system.
Default administrator password: triton
5. Click
OK
, then
Next
to continue.
The system will finish setup, and then restart.
6. When the system restarts, login to the administrator account. Use triton for the
password.

Part 4: Modifying Windows operating system settings
Use this procedure to configure the Windows operating system to factory
specifications.
1. Rename My Computer icon.
a. Right-click the My Computer icon, then select
Rename
.
b. Type the host name used for this UIM.
2. Modify Virtual Memory setting using the following:
a. Right-click the My Computer icon, then select
Properties
.
b. In the System Properties window, select the
Advanced
tab.
c. Click the
Performance Options
or
Settings
.
d. On the Advanced tab, click the
Change
button in the Virtual Memory section of
the Performance Options dialog box.
e. Set the Initial size (MB) entry to
1024
(1024MB)
f. Set the Maximum size (MB) entry to
1024
.
g. Click the
Set
.
h. Click
OK
in the Virtual Memory window.
i. Click
OK
in the restart notification dialog box.
j. Click
OK
in the Performance Options window.
3. Click
OK
in the System Properties dialog box.
4. When prompted to restart, select
Yes
.
The UIM reboots automatically.
5. Verify that the UIM reboots initializes fully, passing all startup tests without errors.
