to close the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties window.

to close the Control Team Properties window.

to close the Control Team Status Window

10. The Control Team icon should be displayed in the Windows taskbar if there is a

network connection.

Part 9: Set the Streaming Team IP Address

1. Double-click the Streaming Team entry to display its Properties Window

2. Click the “Show icon in taskbar when connected” option, then ensure the

checkmark is present.

3. Select the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) component from the components list, and

click the

Properties

button.

4. Click the “Use the following IP address” option.

5. Enter the Streaming Team IP address in the IP address field.

6. Enter the subnet mask.

7. Click

OK

to close the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties window.

8. Click

OK

to close the Streaming Team Properties window.

9. Click

Close

to close the Streaming Team Status Window.

10. The Streaming Team icon should be displayed in the Windows taskbar if connected

to the network.

Part 10: Rename the Qlogic FC NIC

1. In the Network and Dial-Up Connections window identify the local area

connection that is assigned to the Qlogic QLA2X00 PCI Adapter (Should be Local
Area Connection 5).

2. In the Network and Dial-Up Connections window, right-click this connection, then

select

Rename

and rename this connection: QLogic FC NIC.

Part 11: Set the Qlogic FC NIC IP Address

1. Double-click the Qlogic FC NIC entry to display its Status Window.

2. In the Qlogic FC NIC Status Window click

Properties

.

3. Click the “Show icon in taskbar when connected” option, then ensure the

checkmark is present.

4. Select the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) component from the components list, and

click the

Properties

button.

5. Click the “Use the following IP address” option.

6. Enter the IP address for the Fibre Channel interface in the IP address field.

7. Enter the subnet mask.
