Install dual port Ethernet board (optional)
16. Select Link Speed & Duplex and set the value to 100Mbps/Full Duplex .
17. Repeat the previous two steps for the second adapter.
18. Click OK to close the Intel PROSet II Application. Do not restart if prompted.
19. Disable the standard Ethernet adapter by doing the following:
a. In the Network dialog box on the Protocols tab, select TCP/IP Protocol and click
Properties to open the TCP\IP Properties dialog box. Make a note of the IP
address and all other network settings currently applied to the standard Ethernet
adapter, as you will be transferring these settings to the dual port Ethernet
adapter. Click
Cancel to close the TCP\IP Properties dialog box.
b. On the Bindings tab, select all adapters . A list of adapters is displayed.
NOTE: Do not remove the standard single port Ethernet adapter. The Open SAN
requires its presence for licensing and authentication purposes.
