4.3.1.24 FORCE MANUAL BACKUP 2
This subscreen allows the user to switch prime channels to backup Channel 2 manually. Channel 9 must
be configured as Backup Channel 2, and Backup Channel 2 must be in manual mode to force prime
channels into backup. If a prime channel is configured for linked switching, then switching the prime
channel modulator only will also switch the demodulator.
4.3.1.24.1 Programming steps:
1. Press or to move the blinking cursor to the modulator or demodulator
selection.
2. Use the numeric keypad to enter the prime channel number to switch to Backup Channel 2.
3. Press or to abort programming (no switch parameters changed).
4. Press to load the information on the screen into the switch parameter table. Switching will
occur immediately after pressing .
