4.1 Operating Procedures
Operation of the RCS20 consists of controlling the unit operating parameters and monitoring status and
responses via one of the following control interfaces:
• Front Panel Interface
• Remote Port Interface
• Terminal Interface
Any of these methods may be used separately or together to monitor and control the RCS20.
4.2 Front Panel Interface

The RSC20 front panel (Figure 4-1) allows complete control and monitoring of all Modem and Switch
parameters and functions via a keypad, LCD display and Modem and Switch status LEDs.
