3. With the CPCI-6115-MCPTM in the correct vertical position that matches the pin

positioning of the backplane, carefully slide the transition module into the
appropriate slot and seat tightly into the backplane. Refer to

Figure 5-10 on page

141

for the correct board/connector orientation.

4. Secure in place with the screws provided, making good contact with the transverse

mounting rails to minimize RF emissions.

5. Replace the chassis or system cover(s), reconnect the system to the AC or DC power

source and turn the equipment power on, or if hot-swapping, you may now install
the CPCI-6106.

Damage of Circuits
Electrostatic discharge and incorrect installation and removal of the product can damage
circuits or shorten their life.
Before touching the product or electronic components, make sure that your are working in
an ESD-safe environment.
