S1 Result Code: indicates ZIP Code accuracy only.
S80 Match Code:
S indicates a direct match to a known street address in the USPS data.
8 indicates that the ZIP+4 changed
0 indicates no change in the last line of the input address.
ZC5X Location Code: indicates ZIP centroid with county accuracy. The X in the fourth position
indicates that the Census ID is uncertain.
This is the best close match given the input data and your business rules and match preferences.
While this is not a highly accurate candidate placement (ZIP centroid within the county), this may be
suitable for your business application.
Good Location Code and Result Code but Match Code is low quality. Consider the following
input example.

Kansas City, MO 66109
Using Standard Match Mode, this returns the following close match candidate:
MainAddress: 9300 MAIN ST
City: KANSAS CITY
State: KS
ZIP: 66109
Result Code: S5HPN-SCZA
Match Code: TC1
Location Code: AS0
S5 Result Code: indicates a single close match along the street segment.
TC1 Match Code:
T indicates a match to a non-USPS record.
C means that the State and ZIP+4 were changed
1 means that the street type was changed.
AS0 Location Code: indicates a best possible location address location on a street range.
This candidate is the best available match given the user criteria and input. The Match Code
indicates that several address elements were changed to achieve the match (including the changed
state). Depending on your business application and rules, this candidate may or may not be suitable.
Use the Match and Location Codes to evaluate the returned candidates and decide whether you
should accept candidates, based on your business rules.
In some cases, you may want to consider more restrictive matching preferences (such as Must
Match State) to get candidates that are more suitable for your application.
Good Match Code but the quality of the geocode is low. Consider the following input example.
