Standardization.
• Blank Correction. This option is used to create a correct transmission reference on the
XDS Rapid Liquid Analyzer
• Master Standardization. This method is typically not used. Do not select.
• Use Instrument Calibration (XDS only). This is a method used to adjust the instrument
wavelength profile to an external, traceable wavelength standard. This feature must
be used on the XDS instruments to assure method transferability.
• Use Window Correction (XDS only). This is selected when using the XDS Process
instrument with either Transmission Pair or Interactance Immersion Probes. This
option should not be used with Interactance Reflectance.
• Click on OK when done.
Some options are available on XDS instruments only.
3.8 Editing Vision Configuration
Edit Configuration window allows to select visible elements of Vision interface, lamp management,
lamp status for XDS instruments, and logout interval.
• Select Configure/Configuration from main menu. For interface options, click on View tab:
• Select desired interface elements: Status Bar, Vision Toolbar, Tooltips, and Time. All elements
are active after Vision installation by default.
• The default Gray color scheme gives Vision appearance consistent with most Windows
applications. It can be changed to White to improve appearance of spectra pasted to
presentations and documents.
