4. The Edit Project User Access window lists all users. The users with a check mark next to the
User ID will have access to the opened library.
5. You can grant or deny access to the project by highlighting the user ID and clicking on Toggle
Access.
7.2.3 Operator
The Operator has limited access to Vision functions, including:
creating a new project
• opening and closing accessible projects
• running Performance Test
• acquiring and saving spectra
• changing own password
• running Routine Analysis when an Operations Method is configured by a higher security
access user
7.2.4 Routine Analysis (RA) Operator
The RA Operator can perform only the following functions:
• running Routine Analysis with pre-configured Operations Method
• changing own password
7.3 Setting Up Security
7.3.1 Adding a New User
Only a System Manager can add a new user. To add a new user follows these steps:
1. Make sure you are logged into Vision as a System Manager.
2. If necessary, enter the DA mode.
3. Click on Configure/Security. The System Security window shows up.
4. Click on Add.
