Adding and

Enabling a Trap

Receiver

To add and enable a trap receiver, perform the following procedure:

1. From the Basic Config menu, select SNMP Config.

The SNMP Configuration page is shown in Figure 76 on page 257.

2. In the bottom half of the page, enter the IP address for each trap

receiver.

3. Enter the community string to associate with that trap receiver.

4. Select Enable from the list.

5. Click Apply.

Disabling a Trap

Receiver

To disable a trap receiver, perform the following procedure:

1. From the Basic Config menu, select SNMP Config.

The SNMP Configuration page is shown in Figure 76 on page 257.

2. To the right of the trap receiver you want to disable, select Disable

from the list.

3. Click Apply.

Deleting a Trap

Receiver

To delete a trap receiver, perform the following procedure:

1. From the Basic Config menu, select SNMP Config.

The SNMP Configuration page is shown in Figure 76 on page 257.

2. To the right of the trap receiver you want to disable, select Delete from

the list.

3. Click Apply.

Restoring the

Trap Receivers

To restore the trap receivers, perform the following procedure:

1. From the Basic Config menu, select SNMP Config.
