Before you begin disaster recovery:

SLD disaster recovery.

Recover the systems:
Choose the best disaster recovery method:
“Failing Over to the Synchronous Backup System”
(page 207) •
Make the synchronous backup system (usually the local
backup system) primary.
“Failing Over to the Asynchronous Periodic Backup System
(with Data Transfer)” (page 219) •
First send data from the synchronous backup system to
the asynchronous periodic backup system (usually the
remote backup system), then make the asynchronous
periodic backup system primary.
“Failing Over to the Asynchronous Periodic Backup System
(No Data Transfer)” (page 235) •
Make the asynchronous periodic backup system primary
without sending data from the synchronous backup
system.
