You registered the PSP in the repository and associated it with the OS, and you manually
copied the associated PSP file to the repository path the registration process created.

If you are installing a 32-bit operating system on a managed system that has more than 64
GB of memory, be sure to specify the mem=60gb kernel option in the kernel append line
during installation.

Additional prerequisites might apply for specific servers. See the following section, if it applies to
your environment.

9.3.1 Additional prerequisites for certain ProLiant servers

Some server/operating system combinations require an updated boot RAM disk (initrd). These
servers are identified in the HP Insight Control for Linux Support Matrix.

To perform a RHEL Kickstart or SLES AutoYaST installation on these servers, you must replace the
initrd

supplied with the standard Red Hat Linux or SUSE Linux distribution with a customized

initrd

provided by HP. Download the customized initrd from the web address that corresponds

to the server and operating system. These initrd files have additional support for the servers;
you can use them to install the corresponding OS on the other hardware platforms as well.

Recent SLES operating systems use a driver kit ISO image, which might include an updated kernel.

Before you can use Insight Control for Linux to install Linux on these servers, you must:

Download the files and place the customized, HP-provided initrd and the kernel into the
appropriate directories under /opt/repository/boot, overwriting the original initrd
supplied with the distribution of the corresponding Linux operating system.

For example, to download the initrd and kernel for a SLES 11 SP1 (x64) operating system,
the steps would resemble the following:
