HP SIM did not properly identify the virtual host

For Xen , use the uname command as follows to verify
that the VM host is running a Xen kernel:

# uname -r
2.6.18-92.e15xen

The text string xen should be embedded in the output.

If the server is not running the appropriate kernel, you
need:

◦ To repeat the VM host installation,

◦ To add any missing Xen components, or

◦ Configure the host to boot from the Xen kernel.

For more information, see

Section 11.1 (page 118)

.

Ensure that the rocommunity string in the /etc/
snmp/snmpd.conf

rocommunity public 192.0.2.55

Verify that the sign-in credentials are correct.

Agents... task on the VM host, selecting to install Insight
Control virtual machine management.

For other supported operating systems, install these
packages from the RHEL or SLES distribution media.
