ip rip authentication key
Command Mode Interface Configuration.
Description Sets the authentication password used on the interface. The no form of this
command clears the password.
Syntax
Sample Output The following example sets the authentication string used on interface
labeled “boston” as abc.
(config-if:boston)# ip rip authentication key abc
Systems P550R, P580, P880, and P882.
To Configure: ip rip authentication key
To Clear: no ip rip authentication key
