Analytical Instruments
Use COLD START when:
•
The Instrument is turned on for the first time.
•
A new authorization code is desired.
•
You want to reset all parameters to the default factory set values.
Use WARM START when:
•
The Instrument is turned on after a lengthy period of non-use and
you want to retain previously set parameters.
•
After filling the Ultra Trace sensor with electrolyte.
•
You want to purge the gas lines.
•
FULL START:
A 2 hour purge of all gas lines
(sample,zero, span and calibrator).
•
WARM START: A 2 minute purge of sample
line only. Used when connecting a new sample
source or when instrument has been turned off
for a brief period.
Use ANALYZE MODE when:
•
You want to measure the oxygen concentration in a sample.
•
You want to calibrate the analyzer.
•
You want to setup the instrument for automatic calibration cycles.
•
CALIBRATION: Set the zero and span of the
instrument using internal or external sources.
•
SETUP:
•
Schedule intervals for AUTO ZERO and AUTO
SPAN calibration cycles.
•
Enter values for AUTO SETTLING.
•
Enter values for signal FILTERing.
•
Set the display for positive O
2
.
•
Set the ALARM parameters.
•
Set the MODEM configturation.
•
RANGE: Switch between MANUAL range and
AUTO RANGE.
•
STANDBY:
•
Maintain operational status for instrument when
no gas is flowing .
•
You want to disconnect a gas line for mainte-
nance or reconnect another source.
