ESC twice to return to the Ana-
lyze mode main menu.
NOTE: By choosing the external Zero/Span gas, whenever Zero or Span
calibration is initiated (Manual or Auto), the analyzer will remain
in the Analyze mode until Zero calibration is completed and
remain in the external Span mode until the Span calibration is
completed.
Setup: Negative O
2
Under normal operation conditions, the analyzer will display the O
2
concentra-
tion from -12.5 ppb to 10 ppm (the negative value appears if the analyzer is
zeroed while the baseline is still trending downward). However, once the
analyzer has achieved base line stability and is zeroed, the analyzer will display
positive values. An exception to this is when the sample gas contains less than
1 ppb O
2
. Since the accuracy of the analyzer is ±1 ppb, with a sample gas
containing 0.5 ppb O
2
, the analyzer may display a signal of -.05 to 1.5 ppb. If
you prefer not to display the negative values, proceed with the following steps:
1. From the Analyze mode, press SETUP .
2. Press NEG O2.
3. The display gives you the option of
enabling or disabling negative O
2
read-
ings. The last line indicates the present
selection. Once you press either
YES or
NO , the system returns you to the screen
in step 2. To check your selection, press
NEG O2 again, and then press ESC twice
to return to the Analyze mode.
