Importing a Chord Sequence from a Standard MIDI Files
You can import a Chord Sequence from a Standard MIDI File (MIDI Song, that
is a MID file).

Open the
Chord Sequence
dialog by choosing the
Chord Sequence Edit
command from the
page menu
.

Choose the
SMF
option, and use the pop-up menu to choose the
Import
op-
tion.

Use the
Use
pop-up menu to choose between importing
Chords
(Chord
events you might have recorded with a Backing Sequence Song) or
Notes
(ordinary notes).

Touch the
Select
button to choose the source Standard MIDI Files (MID file).

When back to the
Chord Sequence
dialog, use the From measure and To
measure parameters to set a measure range from which to import from.
For example, you may want to only import the verse or chorus chords or
notes.

Touch the
OK
button to confirm importing.
At this point, you can save the Style Settings or SongBook Entry again, and
the copied Chord Sequence will be saved.
Exporting the Chord Sequence
You can export a Chord Sequence to a Standard MIDI File (MID file), to be
used in a MIDI Song.

Open the
Chord Sequence
dialog by choosing the
Chord Sequence Edit
command from the
page menu
.

Choose the
SMF
option, and use the pop-up menu to choose the
Export
op-
tion.

Touch the
OK
button to confirm exporting.

When the file selector appears, choose a folder where to save the exported
file.
