:STATus Commands
The :STATus commands and IEEE488.2 common commands are mainly used to operate or query the status
register. The structure of the status register is as shown in the figure below. It includes the questionable
status register, operation status register, standard event status register, status byte register and error queue.
The STATus commands are used to set and query the questionable status register and operation status
register; the IEEE488.2 common commands are used to perform operations relating the standard event
status register and status byte register.
