Operating limit management (heat pump)
When the external air temperature falls to particularly low levels, it may no longer be convenient or sufficient to heat using the heat
pump. The Limit set point PC17 on outdoor air temperature is used to disable the heat pump, Reactivation happens when the outdoor
air temperature exceeds the limit set point plus a configurable Limit differential PC72.
In order to enable this function, the outdoor air temperature sensor must be enabled.
8.19.7
Function of Cooling/Heatingupon request
This function, if activated from the parameterEnabling of Control on Request PC80, requires a sensor of a specific remote temperature
(normally placed in the accumulation tank): upon reaching a specific setpoint (in the cooling functionControl Setpoint onSummer
Request PC81, in the heating functionControl Setpoint onWinter Request PC82) and after aDelay of Control on Request PC85 causes the
activation of the circulation pump and of the compressor to perform the requested function with the classic thermoregulation selected
(regulation of receipt or dispatch). The unit turns off when the accumulation tank’s needs have been satisfied, that is, once theControl
Setpoint onSummer Request PC81 – Control Differential onSummer Request PC83 (if cooling) has been reachedor if theControl
Setpoint onWinter Request PC82 + Control Differential onWinter Request PC84 (if heating).
In order to use this feature, it is necessary to enable the auxiliary regulation probe via parameters HAxx.
8.19.8
Set-point change from digital input
It is possible to modify the working set-point by making use of digital input. In order to use this feature, set the offsets of the set-point
with parameters PUC1 (Summer function) andPUH1 (Winter function).
It is also necessary to configure the digital input to be used by configuring parameters HBxx.
