1 GETTING STARTED
1.1 Important
Read these instructions carefully before installing and using the instrument and
follow all additional information for installation and electrical connection.
Keep these instructions close to the instrument for future consultations.
1.2 Installing the instrument
Panel mounting, with the screw brackets supplied by the builder; dimensions
in mm (in).

Additional information for installation:
• the maximum panel thickness must be 4 mm (0.157 in)
• position the brackets as indicated; moderate the clamping torque, in order
not to damage box and brackets
• working conditions (ambient temperature, humidity, etc.) must be between
the limits indicated in the technical data
• do not install the instrument close to heating sources (resistances, hot air
ducts, etc.), locations subject to direct sunlight, rain, humidity, dust, mechanical
vibrations or bumps, devices provided with big magnetos (big speakers, etc.)
• according to the safety norms, the protection against electrical parts must be
ensured by a correct installation of the instrument; the parts that ensure the
protection must be installed so that you can not remove them if not by using a tool.
1.3 Wiring diagram
PAY ATTENTION:
•if the instrument is supplied with 24 Vac, between terminals 9
and 11 there will be a potential difference of 230 Vac (analo-
gously if the instrument is supplied with 230 Vac, between
terminals 9 and 10 there will be a potential difference of
24 Vac not SELV); these voltages must not absolutely be used.
Additional information for electrical connection:
• do not operate on the terminal blocks with electrical or pneumatic screwers
• if the instrument has been moved from a cold to a warm location, the hu-
midity will condense on the inside; wait about an hour before supplying the
instrument
• test the working power supply voltage, working electrical frequency and
working electrical power of the instrument; they must correspond with the
local power supply
• disconnect the local power supply before servicing the instrument
• provide the probe with a protection able to protect it against contacts with
metal parts or use insulated probes
• do not use the instrument as safety device
• for repairs and information concerning the instrument please contact Evco
sales network.
2 USER INTERFACE
2.1 Turning the instrument on/off
• press
1 s.
Turning off means turning the instrument off via software (the instrument is
connected with the power supply).
2.2 User interface
If the instrument is turned on, the display will show the room temperature or
the working setpoint or the count of the cooking timer or the real time (only
EV7611), according to parameter c9.
If the instrument is turned off, the display will be switched off or will show the
real time (only EV7611), according to parameter c7.
2.3 Selecting the quantity to show in the display
• press
The instrument will show in succession:
• room temperature (LED , and will be switched off)
• working setpoint (LED will be lit)
• count of the cooking timer (LED will be lit or will flash)
• real time (only EV7611, LED will be lit).
If you turn the instrument off, it will restore parameter c9.

• press a button.

REAL TIME (ONLY EV7611)
3.1 Setting the real time
To gain access the procedure:
• make sure the count of the cooking timer is not running
• press
1 s: the instrument will show in succession “rtc” and the real
time (hours:minutes); the left part of the display will flash.
To modify the hour:
• press
or in 15 s.
To modify the minutes:
• press
during the modification of the hour
• press or in 15 s.
To quit the procedure:
• press
during the modification of the minutes or do not operate 15 s.
4 PROGRAMMED STARTING (ONLY EV7611)
4.1 Setting the programmed starting
To gain access the procedure:
• make sure the instrument is turned on and the count of the cooking timer is
not running
• press the instrument will show in succession “tin” and the cooking
timer value (hours:minutes); the left part of the display will flash
• press in 15 s: the instrument will show in succession “dEL” and the
programmed starting time (hours:minutes); the left part of the
display will flash.
To modify the hour:
• press
or in 15 s.
To modify the minutes:
• press
during the modification of the hour
• press or in 15 s.
To quit the procedure:
• or do not operate 15 s.
To modify the number of days the instrument must put back the starting:
• press
during the modification of the minutes: the instrument will show
in succession “int” and the number of days
• press or in 15 s (you can set the number of days between
0 and 6) (1).
To quit the procedure:
• press
during the modification of the number of days or do not operate
15 s.
(1) for example: if it is 08:00, set 0 as number of days to turn the instrument
on automatically at 20:00 of the same day; if it is 20:00, set 1 as number
of days to turn the instrument on automatically at 08:00 of the following
day.
4.2 Activating the programmed starting
• make sure the instrument is turned on
• press
and 1 s: this will turn the instrument off.
To the time you have set with the procedure indicated in paragraph 4.1, the
instrument will automatically start working (if there is an interruption of power
supply, the instrument will automatically start working as soon as the power
supply will be restored); to turn the instrument on automatically also the follow-
ing days, repeat the procedure.
If the Clock alarm is running, the instrument will interrupt the function.
4.3 Interrupting the programmed starting
• make sure the instrument is turned off
• press
and 1 s.
5 COOKING TIMER
5.1 Setting the cooking timer
To gain access the procedure:
• make sure the instrument is turned on
• press
the instrument will show in succession “tin” and the cooking
timer value (hours:minutes); the left part of the display will flash.
To modify the hour:
• press
or in 15 s (you can set the cooking timer value between
00:00 and 24:00 h:min) (2).
To modify the minutes:
• press
during the modification of the hour
• press or in 15 s.
To quit the procedure:
• or do not operate 15 s.

you can set the cooking timer even if the count is running; if you set
00:00, the instrument will interrupt the function and the buzzer will utter
an intermittent beep 3 s.
5.2 Activating the cooking timer
• press
during the modification of the minutes.
Otherwise:
• make sure the instrument is turned on
• press and 1 s.
When 10 s are needed to end the count of the cooking timer, the buzzer will
utter an intermittent beep according to parameter c4.
5.3 Interrupting the cooking timer
• make sure the count of the cooking timer is running
• press
and 1 s: the buzzer will utter an intermittent beep 3 s.
6 WORKING SETPOINT
6.1 Setting the working setpoint
• make sure the instrument is turned on
• press
the instrument will show in succession “SEt” and the working
setpoint
• press or in 15 s (you can set the working setpoint between
the limits you have set with parameters r1 and r2)
• press or do not operate 15 s.
7 CONFIGURATION PARAMETERS
7.1 Setting configuration parameters
To gain access the procedure:
• make sure the instrument is turned off
• press
and 4 s: the instrument will show “1”
• press or to select “PA”
• press
• press
or in 15 s to set “-19”
• press or do not operate 15 s
• press and 4 s: the instrument will show “P0”.
To select a parameter:
• press

To modify a parameter:
• press

or in 15 s
• press or do not operate 15 s.
To quit the procedure:

7.2 Restoring default configuration parameters
To gain access the procedure:
• switch off the power supply of the instrument
• restore the power supply

3 times in 4 s since the power supply has been restored: the
instrument will show “SEL” flashing.
Otherwise:
• press
1 s to turn the instrument off
• press and 4 s: the instrument will show “1”
• press or to select “PA”
• press
• press
or in 15 s to set “743”
• press or do not operate 15 s
• press and 4 s: the instrument will show “SEL” flashing.
To restore default configuration parameters:

8 SIGNALS
8.1 Signals
LED MEANING
LED working setpoint
if it is switched off and LED clock and timer are too, the instrument
will show the room temperature (parameter c9)
if it is lit, the instrument will show the working setpoint (parameter c9)
if it flashes, the modification of the working setpoint will be running
LED clock
if it is lit, the instrument will show the real time (only EV7611,
parameter c7) or the modification of the real time will be running
LED timer
if it is lit, the instrument will show the count of the cooking timer
(parameter c9) or the modification of the cooking timer value will

9.1 Alarms

10.1 Internal diagnostics

Remedies:

• check the kind of probe (parameter P0)
• check the integrity of the probe
• check the connection instrument-probe

Remedies:
• switch off the power supply of the instrument; unless the alarm
disappears, you will have to change the instrument
Effects:
• the load will be turned off
tEr1 Interruption of power supply during the count of the cooking timer
Remedies:
• check the reasons that have given the interruption of power
supply
Effects:
• the instrument will work according to parameter r8
tEr2 Clock alarm
Remedies:
• set the real time again
Effects:
• if the programmed starting is running, the instrument will inter-
rupt the function
• the programmed starting will not be available
11 TECHNICAL DATA
11.1 Technical data
Box: self-extinguishing grey.
Frontal protection: IP 65 .
Connections: extractable terminal blocks (power supply, input and output).
Working temperature: from 0 to 55 °C (32 to 131 °F, 10 ... 90% of relative
humidity without condensate).
Power supply: 230 Vac (terminals 9 and 11) or 24 Vac (terminals 9 and 10),
50/60 Hz, 2 VA (115 Vac, 50/60 Hz, 2 VA by request).
Clock data maintenance without power supply: 24 hours, on condi-
tion that the instrument has been turned on 2 min at least (only EV7611).
Alarm buzzer: included.
Measure inputs: 1 (room probe) for J/K thermocouples.
Working range: from 0 to 700 °C (32 to 999 °F) for J thermocouple,
from 0 to 999 °C (32 to 999 °F) for K thermocouple.
Resolution: 1 °C/1 °F.
Outputs: one 10 A @ 250 Vac relay (change-over contact).

1 PREPARATIVI
1.1 Importante
Leggere attentamente queste istruzioni prima dell’installazione e prima dell’uso
e seguire tutte le avvertenze per l’installazione e per il collegamento elettrico.
Conservare queste istruzioni con lo strumento per consultazioni future.
1.2 Installazione
A pannello, con le staffe a vite in dotazione (si veda il disegno del paragrafo 1.2
della sezione in Inglese).
Avvertenze per l’installazione:
• lo spessore massimo del pannello dovrà essere di 4 mm
• posizionare le staffe come indicato; per evitare di danneggiare il contenitore
e le staffe, moderare la coppia di serraggio
• accertarsi che le condizioni di impiego (temperatura ambiente, umidità, ecc.)
rientrino nei limiti indicati nei dati tecnici
• non installare lo strumento in prossimità di fonti di calore (resistenze, condotti
dell’aria calda, ecc.), di luoghi soggetti alla luce solare diretta, pioggia, umidi-
tà, polvere eccessiva, vibrazioni meccaniche o scosse, di apparecchi con forti
magneti (grossi diffusori, ecc.)
• in conformità alle norme di sicurezza, la protezione contro eventuali contatti
con le parti elettriche deve essere assicurata mediante una corretta installazio-
ne dello strumento; tutte le parti che assicurano la protezione devono essere
fissate in modo tale da non poter essere rimosse senza l’aiuto di un utensile.
1.3 Collegamento elettrico
Si veda il disegno del paragrafo 1.3 della sezione in Inglese.
ATTENZIONE:
•se lo strumento viene alimentato a 24 Vca, tra i morsetti 9 e 11
vi sarà una differenza di potenziale di 230 Vca (in maniera ana-
loga se lo strumento viene alimentato a 230 Vca, tra i morsetti
9 e 10 vi sarà una differenza di potenziale di 24 Vca non SELV);
tali tensioni non devono assolutamente essere utilizzate.
Avvertenze per il collegamento elettrico:
• non operare sulle morsettiere utilizzando avvitatori elettrici o pneumatici
• se lo strumento viene portato da un luogo freddo a uno caldo, l’umidità può
condensare all’interno; attendere circa un’ora prima di alimentare lo stru-
mento
• accertarsi che la tensione di alimentazione, la frequenza e la potenza elettrica
operative dello strumento corrispondano a quelle dell’alimentazione locale
• disconnettere l’alimentazione prima di procedere con qualunque tipo di
manutenzione
• dotare la sonda di una protezione in grado di isolarla contro i contatti con le
parti metalliche o utilizzare una sonda isolata
• non utilizzare lo strumento come dispositivo di sicurezza
• per le riparazioni e per informazioni riguardanti lo strumento rivolgersi alla
rete di vendita Evco.
2 INTERFACCIA UTENTE
2.1 Accensione/spegnimento dello strumento
• premere
1 s.
Con il termine spegnimento si intende lo spegnimento dello strumento via
software (lo strumento rimane connesso all’alimentazione).
2.2 Interfaccia utente
Se lo strumento è acceso, il display visualizza la temperatura ambiente o il
setpoint di lavoro o il conteggio del timer di cottura o l’ora reale (solo EV7611),
a seconda del parametro c9.
Se lo strumento è spento, il display è spento o visualizza l’ora reale (solo EV7611),
a seconda del parametro c7.
2.3 Selezione della grandezza da visualizzare nel display
• premere
Lo strumento visualizza in successione:
• la temperatura ambiente (i LED , e sono spenti)
• il setpoint di lavoro (il LED è acceso)
• il conteggio del timer di cottura (il LED è acceso o lampeggia)
• l’ora reale (solo EV7611, il LED è acceso).
Lo spegnimento dello strumento provoca il ripristino del parametro c9.
2.4 Tacitazione allarmi
• premere un tasto.

ORA REALE (SOLO EV7611)
3.1 Impostazione dell’ora reale
Per accedere alla procedura:
• accertarsi che il conteggio del timer di cottura non sia in corso
• premere
1 s: lo strumento visualizza in successione “rtc” e l’ora reale
(ore:minuti); la parte più significativa del display lampeggia.
Per modificare l’ora:
• premere
o entro 15 s.
Per modificare i minuti:
• premere
durante la modifica dell’ora
• premere o entro 15 s.
Per uscire dalla procedura:
• premere
durante la modifica dei minuti o non operare per 15 s.
4 ACCENSIONE PROGRAMMATA (SOLO EV7611)
4.1 Impostazione dell’accensione programmata
Per accedere alla procedura:
• accertarsi che lo strumento sia acceso e che il conteggio del timer di cottura
non sia in corso
• premere lo strumento visualizza in successione “tin” e il valore del ti-
mer di cottura (ore:minuti); la parte più significativa del display
lampeggia
• premere entro 15 s: lo strumento visualizza in successione “dEL” e
l’orario di accensione programmata (ore:minuti); la parte più
significativa del display lampeggia.
Per modificare l’ora:
• premere
o entro 15 s.
Per modificare i minuti:
• premere
durante la modifica dell’ora
• premere o entro 15 s.
Per uscire dalla procedura:
• non operare per 15 s.
Per modificare il numero di giorni per i quali rinviare l’accensione:
• premere
durante la modifica dei minuti: lo strumento visualizza in suc-
cessione “int” e il numero di giorni
• premere o entro 15 s (il numero di giorni è impostabile tra
0 e 6) (1)
• premere durante la modifica del numero di giorni o non operare per
15 s.
(1) esempio: se sono le 08:00 e si desidera che lo strumento si accenda
automaticamente alle 20:00 dello stesso giorno, impostare il numero di
giorni a 0; se sono le 20:00 e si desidera che lo strumento si accenda
automaticamente alle 08:00 del giorno successivo, impostare il numero
di giorni a 1.
4.2 Attivazione dell’accensione programmata
• accertarsi che lo strumento sia acceso
• premere
e per 1 s: lo strumento si spegne.
All’orario stabilito con la procedura indicata al paragrafo 4.1, lo strumento si
accende automaticamente (se c’è un’interruzione dell’alimentazione, lo stru-
mento si accenderà automaticamente non appena l’alimentazione sarà ripristi-
nata); affinchè lo strumento si accenda automaticamente anche i giorni suc-
cessivi, ripetere la procedura.
Se è in corso l’Allarme orologio, lo strumento interrompe la funzione.
4.3 Interruzione dell’accensione programmata
• accertarsi che lo strumento sia spento
• premere
e per 1 s.
5 TIMER DI COTTURA
5.1 Impostazione del timer di cottura
Per accedere alla procedura:
• accertarsi che lo strumento sia acceso
• premere
lo strumento visualizza in successione “tin” e il valore del ti-
mer di cottura (ore:minuti); la parte più significativa del display
lampeggia.
Per modificare l’ora:
• premere
o entro 15 s (il valore del timer di cottura è impostabile
tra 00:00 e 24:00 h:min) (2).
Per modificare i minuti:
• premere
durante la modifica dell’ora
• premere o entro 15 s.
Per uscire dalla procedura:
• non operare per 15 s.

il timer di cottura può essere impostato anche se questi è in corso; se
viene impostato a 00:00, lo strumento interrompe la funzione e il buzzer
emette un suono intermittente per 3 s.
5.2 Attivazione del timer di cottura
• premere
durante la modifica dei minuti.
In alternativa:
• accertarsi che lo strumento sia acceso
• premere
e per 1 s.
Quando mancano 10 s alla conclusione del conteggio del timer di cottura, il
buzzer emette un suono intermittente a seconda del parametro c4.
5.3 Interruzione del timer di cottura
• accertarsi che il conteggio del timer di cottura sia in corso
• premere
e per 1 s: il buzzer emette un suono intermittente per
3 s.
6 SETPOINT DI LAVORO
6.1 Impostazione del setpoint di lavoro
• accertarsi che lo strumento sia acceso
• premere
lo strumento visualizza in successione “SEt” e il setpoint di
lavoro
• premere o entro 15 s (il setpoint di lavoro è impostabile entro i
limiti stabiliti con i parametri r1 ed r2)
• premere o non operare per 15 s.
7 PARAMETRI DI CONFIGURAZIONE
7.1 Impostazione dei parametri di configurazione
Per accedere alla procedura:
• accertarsi che lo strumento sia spento
• premere
e per 4 s: lo strumento visualizza “1”
• premere o per selezionare “PA”
• premere
• premere
o entro 15 s per impostare “-19”
• premere o non operare per 15 s
• premere e per 4 s: lo strumento visualizza “P0”.
Per selezionare un parametro:
• premere
o
Per modificare un parametro:
• premere

o entro 15 s
• premere o non operare per 15 s.
Per uscire dalla procedura:
• premere
e per 4 s o non operare per 60 s.
7.2 Ripristino dei parametri di configurazione di default
Per accedere alla procedura:
• interrompere l’alimentazione dello strumento
• ripristinare l’alimentazione
• premere
3 volte entro 4 s da quando l’alimentazione è stata ripristina-
ta: lo strumento visualizza “SEL” lampeggiante.
In alternativa:
• premere
1 s per spegnere lo strumento
• premere e per 4 s: lo strumento visualizza “1”
• premere o per selezionare “PA”
• premere
• premere
o entro 15 s per impostare “743”
• premere o non operare per 15 s
• premere e per 4 s: lo strumento visualizza “SEL” lampeggiante.
Per ripristinare i parametri di configurazione di default:
• premere
lo strumento visualizza “dEF” lampeggiante

LED SIGNIFICATO
LED setpoint di lavoro
se è spento e lo sono anche i LED orologio e timer, lo strumento
visualizza la temperatura ambiente (parametro c9)
se è acceso, lo strumento visualizza il setpoint di lavoro (parametro
c9)
se lampeggia, è in corso la modifica del setpoint di lavoro
LED orologio
se è acceso, lo strumento visualizza l’ora reale (solo EV7611, para-
metro c7) o è in corso la modifica dell’ora reale
