no ip vrrp
In Global Config mode, this command disables the default administrative mode of
VRRP in the router. In Interface Config mode, this command disables the VRRP
protocol on an interface. This command also removes a virtual router IP address as a
secondary IP address on an interface. The virtual Router ID,
, is an integer value
that ranges from 1 to 255.

ip vrrp mode
This command enables the virtual router configured on the specified interface.
Enabling the status field starts a virtual router. The parameter
is the virtual
router ID which has an integer value ranging from 1 to 255.

This command sets the virtual router ipaddress value for an interface. The value for
is the IP Address which is to be configured on that interface for VRRP. The

secondary IP address.

ip vrrp authentication
This command sets the authorization details value for the virtual router configured on a
specified interface. The parameter
{none | simple}
specifies the authorization type
for virtual router configured on the specified interface. The parameter

is
optional, it is only required when authorization type is simple text password. The
