4.3.4 Conclude teach procedure
Adaptation
The positioning behaviour is monitored continuously during
operation. Internal characteristic values are adapted here to
the actual state of the drive, e.g. in order to compensate for
wear etc. during the service period.
After commissioning, the positioning behaviour improves by
adaptation automatically after approximately 20 to 30 strokes.
Therefore, after teaching the end positions and intermediate
positions, always allow 20 to 30 positioning cycles to be
carried out.
4.3.5 Carry out teach procedure again
When the SPC11 is ready to operate, the teach procedure can
be started again, e.g. with the aid of the Teach button.
Condition
There must be a 0-signal at inputs I1...4. The parameters
must be set correctly. The maximum mass load and, if appli-
cable, the fixed stops must be fitted correctly. To be able to
start the teach procedure with the buttons, a 0-signal must
be present at the Remote input (I8).
The SPC11 then indicates readiness to carry out the teach
procedure (t flashes). The procedure can then be discon-
tinued if the power supply is switched off. If the Teach button
is pressed again (for at least 2 seconds), the teach procedure
will be started (see section 4.3.2).
If the end positions are taught again, the adaptation values
will be deleted. Intermediate positions already “taught” are
retained.
