4.3.3 Teach the intermediate positions
The SPC11 permits fast movement into up to two selectable
intermediate positions. The desired intermediate positions
are “learnt” by manual movement or by shifting the moveable
mass and then saving. The “learnt” intermediate positions
can be approached during operation.
The intermediate positions can also be used as sensor posi-
tions, as the relevant output (O3...O4) supplies a 1-signal for
50 ms when the intermediate positions are travelled over
(see section 4.4.5).
Condition
The drive must be ready for operation. There must be a
0-signal at inputs I1...4. In the procedure using the buttons
on the SPC11, a 0-signal must be present at the Remote
input (I8). The supply pressure must be switched on or off,
depending on the variant.
Variants
Procedure
The supply pressure is
switched off
The moveable mass can brought into the
desired position very accurately by hand
during the teach procedure.
The supply pressure is
switched on
The mass can be moved manually. Very
accurate positioning can, under certain
circumstances, be difficult and may take a
considerable amount of time.
The following explains how to teach the intermediate posi-
tions when the supply pressure is switched on. If you wish to
teach the intermediate positions with the supply pressure
switched off, you must proceed in exactly the same manner.
However, the mass will not start moving automatically when
the button is pressed { or }, but must be brought into the
desired intermediate position by hand. The button { or }
must still be pressed at the appropriate position.
