4.3.2 Start the teach procedure
Condition There must be a 0-signal at inputs I1...4. The parameters
must be set correctly. The maximum mass load and, if appli-
cable, the fixed stops must be fitted correctly. To be able to
start the teach procedure with the buttons, a 0-signal must
be present at the Remote input (I8).
Warning
In order to avoid damage caused by uncushioned
movement into the end positions, proceed as follows:
– with the first commissioning
– when the fixed stops have been adjusted
– after changing the parameters A, C, S, L, r
– or after replacing components or tubing.
1. Make sure that:
• the compressed air supply and the operating voltage of
the SPC11 are switched off
• the above-mentioned prerequisites are fulfilled.
2. Switch on the operating voltage for the SPC11. The SPC11
will then show briefly the version number of the firmware.
The set parameters are then shown, so that they can be
checked.
3. Now switch on the compressed air supply (5 to 7 bar).
As the valve slide assumes the intermediate position, the
moveable load can move slowly into one of the end posi-
tions due to the asymmetrical voltage-pressure curve of
the proportional directional control valve.
