Displaying Switch Statistics
To display Ethernet statistics for an entire switch, perform the following
procedure:
1. From the Main Menu, type 7 to select Ethernet Statistics.
2. From the Ethernet Statistics menu, type 3 to select Display Module
Statistics.
The statistics for the port are displayed in the Display Port
Statistics window, shown in Figure 46.

The information in this window is for viewing purposes only. The
statistics are defined below:
Total Count
Number of valid packets received and transmitted by the switch.
Transmit Packets
Number of packets transmitted from the switch.
Received Packets
Number of packets received by the switch.
Received Overflow
Number of times the capacity of the port buffers have been
exceeded.
