For example, if you enter “20” for the interval timer for 10 Mbps
ports, the management software multiples the value by 10. The
result would be an interval timer of 200 milliseconds for ports
operating at 10 Mbps.

The default value is “0” for all timers. A value of “0” disables the
broadcast frame control feature for ports operating at the
corresponding timer speed.

Note

The 1000 Mbps speed applies only to GBIC modules in an
AT-8024GB switch.

5. Once you have set the desired timer intervals, type S to select Save

Configuration Changes.

Your changes are immediately activated on the switch.

6. Go to the next procedure and specify the maximum number of

broadcast frames the ports on the switch can receive.
