Replacing a Media Converter Module
Caution
The media converter modules are sensitive to and can be damaged
by electrostatic discharge. Wear a grounding device and observe
electrostatic discharge precautions when handling the modules.
To remove a media converter module:
1. Label and disconnect all of the twisted pair cables and the fiber optic
cables from the ports on the module. The labels will make it easier for
you to connect the cables to the correct ports on the new module.
