Describe Point
An additional screen will open to further describe the point depending
on the options selected in the Surveying Settings screen (Page R-45).
Desc: Allows you to change the description entered in
the Traverse/Sideshot screen before storing the point.
This is only appears when Prompt for Description is
checked in the Surveying Settings screen.
HR: Allows you to change the rod height from the value
entered in the Traverse/Sideshot screen. This is only
appears when Prompt for Height of Rod is checked in the
Surveying Settings screen
Layer: Allows you to specify a different layer to store the
point to other than the default Points layer. This is only
available when Prompt for Layer is checked in the
Surveying Settings screen.
Picture: Displays the name of the last picture taken.
The dropdown list allows you to select other pictures
taken for the current point. The corresponding button allows you
to view or delete the selected picture. This is only appears when
Prompt for Picture is checked in the Surveying Settings screen, which
is only available on a Nomad with a built-in camera.
: Starts the Take a Picture routine (Page R-96) where you can take
one or more pictures. All pictures taken will automatically be
associated with the current point.
Results
Angle Right: is the horizontal angle right around the Occupy Point
from the Backsight to the Foresight Point.
Azimuth: is the azimuth from the Occupy Point to the Foresight Point.
Zenith: is the zenith angle measured by the total station to the prism.
Slope Dist: is the slope distance measured by the total station to the
prism.
