Function Code 156 – Auto Bias Station
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The PID with Auto Bias Station is basically a Manual/Auto station that performs Manual
/ Auto function for the input. When the controller is in AUTO, the output matches the
input. The user can change the output by forcing the controller to MAN (manual) mode.
The Auto Bias function adds an automatic bias to the output when the controller is
switched from Manual to Auto thereby ensuring a bump-less transfer.
The Input quality signal S1Q can also be used to force the controller in Manual mode.
UTILIZATION
The MOD 30ML/MODCELL compound FC156 – Auto Bias Station uses a PID block
and a display to perform Auto Bias Station.
