Function Code 1- Function Generator
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This function approximates a nonlinear output to input relationship. The input range is
divided into sections and a linear input to output relationship is setup for each section.
This function then computes an output that is related to the input according to the linear
relationships.
UTILIZATION
The MOD 30ML/MODCELL compound FC1 used here has two function blocks namely
the Piecewise table (PW) block and a Linearization (LN) block.

The piecewise (PW) function block used in this compound allows up to 60 sections
compared to five in the Bailey Function code 1. The compound has 10 pairs already added
in the function block. You can add as up to a total of 60 pairs by clicking on the Add
button in the PW block configuration. See figure below:
